Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Certification Course

Maryland Residents and Non-Residents Welcome

Our Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Certification Course is a comprehensive Maryland State Police-approved training program designed for both Maryland residents and qualified non-residents seeking to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit.

Unlike many states, Maryland does not recognize concealed-carry permits issued by other states, including Connecticut, Florida, Utah, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. To legally carry a handgun in Maryland, you must obtain a Maryland-issued Wear and Carry Permit.

Whether you live in Maryland or reside elsewhere, our course provides the training, guidance, and support necessary to successfully navigate Maryland's permitting process.

Maryland Residents & Non-Residents May Apply
Many students are surprised to learn that you do not have to live in Maryland to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. Maryland issues permits to both residents and non-residents who meet the eligibility and training requirements established by the Maryland State Police.
