We are offering the New York State–approved 16-Hour Firearms Safety Lecture plus 2-Hour Live-Fire Range Training, as required for:

• New Pistol Permit Applicants

• Full-Carry Amendments

• Out-of-State / Non-Resident Applicants

• Permit Renewals

This is a two-day, 18-hour comprehensive training course that fully satisfies New York State statutory requirements.

​

Our 18-hour certification is valid for both New York State and New York City applicants.

Applicants do not need to reside in New York to obtain a New York State pistol permit. As a non-resident permit holder, you may lawfully possess and travel within New York State and New York City, subject to all applicable laws and restrictions.

Certificates issued upon successful completion of this course are accepted in the following jurisdictions:

Westchester, New York City (NYC), Orange, Suffolk, Nassau, Dutchess, Rockland, Franklin, Putnam, Ulster, Sullivan, Delaware, Broome, Herkimer, Monroe and Erie Counties.

Attendance at all sessions is mandatory. Students must complete the full 16 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of live-fire range training to receive certification.
