Family Safety & Preparedness Training

Prepare Together. Train Together. Protect What Matters Most.

Emergencies rarely affect just one person. They affect the entire household.

At Majeed Guns & Firearms School, our Family Safety & Preparedness Training is designed to bring families together to develop a shared foundation in firearm safety, emergency preparedness, first aid response, CPR/AED skills, communication, and household emergency planning

Rather than having one family member know what to do during an emergency, our goal is to help the household become a coordinated, better-prepared team.

Why Train as a Family?

A safety plan is far more useful when everyone understands it.

Family training allows household members to learn together, ask questions, establish expectations, and practice appropriate responses before an emergency occurs.

It can help families establish:

✓ A common understanding of firearm safety
✓ Household safety rules and responsibilities
✓ An emergency communication plan
✓ Designated meeting locations
✓ Emergency contact procedures
✓ Fire and evacuation planning
✓ Medical emergency procedures
✓ Age-appropriate roles for children and teenagers
✓ CPR and AED preparedness
✓ A plan for infants, children, older adults, pets, and family members requiring assistance

Firearm Safety for the Entire Household

If firearms are present in a home, firearm safety shouldn't be understood by only the firearm owner.

Family training emphasizes safe storage, responsible handling, appropriate boundaries, and what family members should do if they encounter an unsecured firearm.

Training can be adapted to the age and maturity of participating family members. Children do not need to handle firearms in order to benefit from learning appropriate safety rules.

The objective is straightforward: everyone in the household should understand the family's safety expectations.

Build Your Family Emergency Plan

What happens if there's a fire in the middle of the night? Where does everyone meet after evacuating? Who gets the infant? Who calls 911? What happens if the family becomes separated? Does everyone know the home address and critical phone numbers?

These questions are much easier to answer before an emergency.

As part of family preparedness training, we can help your household develop an emergency plan covering scenarios such as fire, severe weather, medical emergencies, power outages, evacuation, household emergencies, and other unexpected events.

The goal isn't fear. It's preparation.

American Red Cross CPR/AED Training

Family training can also incorporate qualifying American Red Cross certification training, including applicable Adult CPR/AED and infant CPR instruction.

These are practical skills that can matter anywhere—at home, at work, while traveling, at a sporting event, or when caring for children.

CPR and AED training helps family members understand how to recognize an emergency, activate emergency medical services, provide appropriate CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator while professional help is on the way.

For parents, grandparents, caregivers, and families with young children, infant CPR training can be especially valuable.

More Than Firearms Training

This isn't simply a shooting class.

It's about creating a family that takes safety, preparedness, communication, and personal responsibility seriously.

Depending upon the program selected, family training can combine:

Firearm Safety • Safe Storage • Emergency Planning • CPR • AED Training • Infant CPR • First-Aid Concepts • Emergency Communication • Evacuation Planning • Situational Awareness • Family Preparedness

Customized Around Your Family

Every household is different.

A couple with an infant has different concerns than a family with teenagers. A multigenerational household may have different responsibilities than a couple whose children have moved away.

That's why private family training can be customized around your household, experience level, family composition, and preparedness goals.

Give Your Family Something More Valuable Than Equipment

Emergency equipment is valuable—but equipment alone doesn't create preparedness.

Knowledge, planning, communication, and training do.

Instead of one person carrying the responsibility for the entire household, give your family the opportunity to learn together.

One Family. One Plan. Everyone Prepared.
